You know, when I saw the headline, “Cured Salt Pork as Nosebleed Remedy” on America’s Test Kitchen Daily Sifter, I thought it was an article that could be both interesting and personally useful (Dave gets nosebleeds! Maybe the solution is eating more bacon!).

I don’t think I can even tell Dave about this.

Salt pork placed in the nose and allowed to remain there for about five days has been used, but the method is rather old-fashioned.
